He’s held a variety of roles—including Environmental Health and Safety Coordinator, Multi-plant H&S Coordinator, H&S Trainer, and Safety & Compliance team member—giving him a well-rounded perspective on what it takes to build safer workplaces. Aaron is passionate about making safety accessible and achievable for every client, no matter their role or industry. He’s known for turning complex concepts into clear, actionable steps that teams can actually use. When he’s not supporting businesses, you’ll find him on the mats training in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and wrestling, experimenting with film photography, diving into strategy games, or relaxing with his two dogs, Bruin and Boston.

Alex Smith is the Head of Marketing for Citation Canada, bringing over a decade of experience at such companies as AppDirect and Amazon. With a focus on crafting powerful stories to drive business growth, Alex loves to bring teams together to tackle tough challenges and enjoy work and life to the fullest. A proud USC Trojan, Alex also holds an MBA in Entrepreneurship from Pepperdine University. Outside of work, Alex enjoys baking, cooking, and eating, as well as traveling to sunny destinations with her family. 

Contest Rules and Regulations

1. Contest Organizer This contest is organized by Citation Canada (the “Organizer”), with its office located at 727 Exeter Rd, London, ON N6E 1L3.

2. Eligibility The contest is open to legal residents of Canada (excluding residents of Québec) who have reached the age of majority in their province or territory of residence at the time of entry. Employees of the Organizer, its affiliates, current clients, advertising agencies, and their immediate family members are not eligible to participate.

3. Contest Period The contest begins on Thursday, April 17, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. ET and closes on Wednesday, May 7, 2025 at 2:30 p.m. ET (the “Contest Period”).

4. How to Enter To enter, participants must:

  • Register for the webinar

No purchase is necessary to enter. Limit one (1) entry per person during the Contest Period. Entries must be submitted during the Contest Period to be eligible.

5. Prize The prize consists of two (2) free one-year subscription to Citation Canada’s Health & Safety solutions, applicable to packages valued at $5,000 CAD or less. Alternatively, the winners may receive a $5,000 CAD credit toward any package(s) valued over $5,000 CAD in annual subscription. One subscription per winner.

Prizes must be accepted as awarded and are not transferable, substitutable, or convertible to cash. The Organizer reserves the right to substitute the prize with one of equal or greater value if the advertised prize becomes unavailable.

6. Winner Selection and Notification A random draw will be held by the Organizer on Wednesday, May 7, 2025 at 3:00 p.m. ET to select two (2) eligible winners from all valid entries received during the Contest Period.

The selected entrant will be contacted by email or phone within five (5) business days of the draw. To be declared a winner, the selected entrant must:

  • Respond to the Organizer within five (5) business days of notification.

  • Correctly answer a mathematical skill-testing question without assistance.

  • Complete and return a release form, which includes consent to collaborate with the Organizer on creating marketing content about their subscription experience.

If the selected entrant fails to meet these requirements, they will be disqualified, and an alternate winner may be selected by random draw.

7. Use of Personal Information By entering the contest, participants consent to the Organizer collecting, using, and disclosing their personal information for the purposes of administering the contest and as otherwise described in the Organizer's privacy policy, available at https://www.citationcanada.com/privacy-policy/

8. Limitation of Liability The Organizer is not responsible for:

  • Any technical, hardware, software, network, or other communication issues that may prevent or delay entries.

  • Any errors, omissions, interruptions, or delays in the administration or operation of the contest.

9. General Conditions

  • By participating, entrants agree to comply with these rules and the Organizer’s decisions, which are final and binding.

  • The Organizer reserves the right to amend these rules or cancel the contest at any time without prior notice due to circumstances beyond its control.

  • Any attempt to tamper with the contest or violate these rules will result in disqualification.

10. Compliance with Laws This contest is subject to all applicable federal, provincial, and municipal laws and regulations. 

By entering the contest, participants acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to abide by these Contest Rules and Regulations.
